'Chiddy Bang' is a rap duo consisting of Chidera Anamege and Xaphoon Jones. These two young artists have been rocking the party scene at Drexel University and the local music scene throughout Philadelphia PA. The unsigned hype, ‘Chiddy Bang’, has been making moves throughout the music industry and has done it with much success. 
'Chiddy Bang' has released their first mixtape entitled "The Swelly Express." The project is inspired by true life experiences and the struggles of getting noticed by the music industry. “The Swelly Express” derives its name from the unique experiences Chidera and Xaphoon faced while traveling from Philly to NYC on a Chinatown bus to meet with prospective record labels.
“The Swelly Express” provides an all around great musical experience, supplying its listeners with new original beats that are upbeat and melodic. The lyrics are creative and witty, while the skits capture a real-life feeling of what these two artists have gone through to make it to where they are at today. The production quality behind this project is impressive for a mixtape. "The Swelly Express" samples beats from Passion Pit’s “Better Things” and MGMT’s “Kids,” which are twisted and reincarnated into something new.
