Each track was independently recorded and produced by Mod Sun. A self accomplishment in itself, Mod Sun has been going through his daily grind, mixing and making more music then ever before. MOD SUN has released his first mixtape titled "Let Ya Teeth Show" in July 2009. It features 11 solid new songs, including the heavily loved track "No Girlfriend." The project features so called 'party-anthems,' 'dreams-come-true,' 'get high' tracks and really encompasses what MOD SUN is all about. Since then, MOD SUN has learned from experience and developed as an artist, pushing forth his latest project, "How To Make A MOD SUN" which includes 17 new songs and remixes. It was no longer just a hobby or a pastime, but a legitimate means to an end, and a potential future. Canterbury - Thank You

Canterbury is a five piece band consisting of college graduates, James, Luke, Ben, Mike, Scott. These five individuals have come together to write and record all of the material on their debut album independently. With this album being in the works for over 2 years now, Canterbury has decided to release their LP, 'Thank You' over the internet absolutely free! The band has come forth and produced an album that's worth noting. Timid Tiger is a five piece indie/electro band that has been remixing and producing music since 2002. Timid Tiger consists of; songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist, Keshav PuruShotam, guitarist and back-up vocalist, Christian Voss, bassist, Christopher Martin, percussionist, Steffen Wilmking and keyboardist/synthesizer, Evgeni Kouris. Lyrically anyone could tell that throughout, "THE PMA.EP," Timid Tiger is about having fun. Two stand out tracks on "THE PMA.EP" are 'Palm Beach Bar', and 'Electric Island' which touch on topics of alcoholic drinks, and just enjoying life. The group comes off with entertaining synthesized sounds and energetic beats which are interlaced with clever lyrics. Goot - Progress

Hailing from Poughkeepsie, New York, Goot is a one man pop/rock and acoustic band. Alex Goot provides the soft, elegant vocals which are accompanied by his musical talent on the drums, guitar, keyboard. Being a true one man band can be hard enough, but Goot has overcome the challenges and has yet to stop. Alex writes and records all of his music himself, tackling each song aggressively with engaging and energetic lyrics. Aside from recording, writing and playing his own music, Goot produces all of his own material as well, which presents a professional yet personal touch on each track.

This impressive musical resume traces back to the young age of 16 when Goot began making music. Since his debut album dropped in late 2007, "Asleep at the Wheel," Goot has been making waves throughout the pop-rock / punk music scene and his fan base is growing. Having performed with bands such as 'Backseat Goodbye', 'Rookie Of The Year', and producing 'The Morning Of's second studio album, "The World as We Know It," Alex Goot has what it takes to have a successful music career.

This Time Next Year - Road Maps and Heart Attacks

The pop-punk band, 'This Time Next Year', has recently signed with Equal Vision Records and has since released their debut LP, "Road Maps and Heart Attacks." The Bay Area band is backed by the talent of front man, Pete Dowdalls, guitarist and back-up vocalist, Brad Wiseman, guitarist, Denis Cohen, and bassist, Tony Allio. Brian McTernan, a reputable record producer who has worked with bands such as 'Thrice', 'The Loved Ones', and 'The Movielife', has worked closely with Pete, Brad, Denis and Tony on this project to successfully produce and release their debut LP "Road Maps and Heart Attacks."

The production quality is well above average on this LP, providing listeners with a sound consists of heavy power chords and punk-rock hooks. Pete Dowdell and Brad Wiseman compliment each other perfectly, producing a pop-punk sound backed with precise and resilience. Chiddy Bang - The Swelly Express

'Chiddy Bang' is a rap duo consisting of Chidera Anamege and Xaphoon Jones. These two young artists have been rocking the party scene at Drexel University and the local music scene throughout Philadelphia PA. The unsigned hype, ‘Chiddy Bang’, has been making moves throughout the music industry and has done it with much success.

'Chiddy Bang' has released their first mixtape entitled "The Swelly Express." The project is inspired by true life experiences and the struggles of getting noticed by the music industry. “The Swelly Express” derives its name from the unique experiences Chidera and Xaphoon faced while traveling from Philly to NYC on a Chinatown bus to meet with prospective record labels.

“The Swelly Express” provides an all around great musical experience, supplying its listeners with new original beats that are upbeat and melodic. Verbal & The Kickdrums - Idiot Savant

An 'idiot savant' is a person affected with a mental disability who exhibits exceptional skill or brilliance in some limited field (as mathematics or music). Verbal (aka Aaron Weiss) nor The Kickdrums', Alex Fitts and Matt Penttila, are mentally disabled in any way but have exhibited exceptional skills with their musical talents on their latest album, "Idiot Savant."

The musical sound of "Idiot Savant" draws similarity to the infamous group Gnarls Barkley. Verbal (Aaron Weiss), an up and coming rapper from Cleveland, Ohio, steps into the booth and raps his way through 12 tracks, using his creativity and humor to successfully deliver a well balanced LP. If the cover doesn't sell you on how wild and creative this album really is, then we sure hope the production quality behind The Kickdrums does. The Kickdrums utilize their unique skills and ability to produce an album that's filled with captivating, rhythmical beats. Empires - Howl

New Music Xperience is proud to introduce, "Empires," a break out band from Chicago, Illinois. Behind the voice of Sean Van Vleet (lead voacalist), the Empires are a five piece band who are stirring up the indie scene with their debut album, "Howl." The band consists of lyricist and songwriter, Sean Van Vleet, lead guitarist, Max Steger, bassist and back-up vocalist, Alfred Smith, drummer, Ryan Luciani, and rhythm guitarist, Tom Conrad. Together these five individuals have joined to create one of the most enjoyable alternative rock albums we've heard in a while.

"Howl" is a 15 track LP that shows off the groups indie-rock roots and has potential to rock the alternative music scene. The album provides listeners with clever instrumentals and interesting lyrics which are enjoyable to say the least. "Howl" draws influences from artists such as Queen, the Police, Blur, the Pixies & Nirvana. The band vocals sound similar to Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy, where the instrumentals have more of an alternative rock feel, comparable to Big City Rock, Collective Soul, and The Panic Division. A relatively new artist to the rap scene, Wiz Khalifa is on the come up and has released his highly-anticipated new mixtape, "Burn After Rolling." Wiz Khalifa reps for Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has been doing his thing with his entourage, 'Taylor Gang.' Lights Resolve - Far from Certain

In the most populated city in America stands three talented individuals, Matt Reich (Vocals/Guitar), Luke Daniels (Bass/Backing Vocals) and Neal Saini (Drums). These three musicians comprise the band, "Lights Resolve."

From the city that never sleeps, New York offers a bright spot within the music scene. Lights Resolve is an indie band that has the potential to rock speakers and venues. With a sound similar to Kings of Leon, Lights Resolve has yet to get the exposure they deserve. At New Music Xperience we stumbled across this band and were shocked at their ability to deliver climatic melodies and elevate their energy to a new level.

Throughout the past few years Lights Resolve has released two independent EP's, "Prelude" & "Currency." Matt Reich, Neal Saini, and Luke Daniels work both ends of the speakers, efficiently sliding from an ambient sound to a more progressive-rock feel, which, undoubtedly get listeners intrigued and energized.

Lights Resolve uses creative guitar riffs and synthesized accents to capture a unique sound. The group compliments their instrumentals with catchy lyrics that can easily grab the attention of anyone with a good ear for alternative rock music.
